Arizona monsoon lightning shots
A nice little storm came blowing through the far south side of Chandler tonight. It actually built up over Chandler, dumped about a tenth of an inch on my house and moved quickly south towards Maricopa and Casa Grande.
As always, the outflow boundary from the storms in Payson seemed to “jump” Phoenix and build up back in the deserts. Weird stuff.
Anyways, after it passed us, I drove south past Hunt Highway and snapped these lightning shots. Nothing major, but it’s all I can do with a pocket camera!
These were taken looking southeast-ish towards Maricopa and Casa Grande.
